Apple Yoghurt?A WILD IDEA

It’s not easy to find New Zealand grown Certified Organic ingredients and so when Varroa mite started wreaking havoc in the local bee industry we thought we’d better start looking for a replacement, in case we wouldn’t be able to get honey to make our popular Bush Honey yoghurt.

Eventually we found a supply of organic apple juice concentrate made from North Island apples, it seemed a bit of a weird match but we decided to give it a go. Much to our surprise the apple juice created a beautifully thick and sweet yoghurt with just a hint of a gentle apple flavour coming through.

We think that Wild Apple is the most delicious yoghurt we have ever made, and all the grandkids on the farm will settle for nothing less. So take a walk on the wild side and try our apple yoghurt in your smoothie, with dessert, or any way you want to!
